Đánh giá chung của du khách Nhật

A 1902-founded, sixth-generation inn on Miyajima's seafront with a free-drinks rooftop terrace facing the great torii and much-praised oyster-and-anago dinners — but the baths are its weak spot: a heated cold spring in the shared baths, and artificial mineral water or plain hot water in the in-room and private baths

Kinsuikan was opened in 1902 by the Takeuchi family, who still run it (the sixth-generation owner took over in 2019); it's a 34-room modern building on the seafront, a few minutes from both the ferry pier and Itsukushima Shrine. Its draws are the location — guests walk to the shrine at night and at dawn, after the day-trippers leave — and the free extras: the rooftop Miyajima Terrace (opened July 2022) with free soft drinks, beer and ice cream and a view of the great torii, plus a book café and seaside terrace. Japanese guests rate it 4.9 across 1,333 reviews on one major site (dinner 4.9), 4.68 across 1,059 on another and 4.54 across 67 on a third. Reviewers from 2022 to 2026 praise warm, attentive staff, the ferry pick-up, and seasonal kaiseki with oysters, anago and a rice pot cooked at the table, leftovers turned into rice balls. The bath is the lowest-scored category on all three sites (about 4.4). The shared baths use the inn's own sodium chloride cold spring, heated to about 41°C; they were renovated in July 2026. The semi-open-air baths in the suites use artificial 'Kōmyōseki' mineral water, and the Mizuori rooms' private bath is plain heated water. Complaints in 2025–2026: a seafood smell and small insects during an in-room dinner, a shower with no curtain, no late check-out, futons laid during dinner without warning, and several reviewers who felt the quality fell short of the price. Two-meal stays for two run from about ¥80,000–97,000 in a standard room to ¥200,000 in a suite.

Nên chọn

  • Mizuori (みずをり), the sea-view Japanese rooms renovated in 2024

Ten-tatami rooms with a sofa and massage chair facing the Inland Sea, with dinner served in the room and free use of the private bath Utakata (book on arrival for 16:00–22:45; open use 7:00–10:00). September 2026 guests could see the torii and the shrine from the room, and a March 2026 couple 'gasped' on entering and could see the torii by leaning out. Two-meal rates for two start around ¥143,000. Note the private bath is heated tap water, not onsen.

  • Otona no Kyūjitsu (オトナの休日), six 42㎡ sea-view rooms with a semi-open-air bath

The inn says these have its best view; guests in 2025–2026 watched the sunset and the lit-up torii from the bath, and dinner (and breakfast on some plans) is served in the room, with 14:00 check-in. No children of primary-school age or younger. About ¥140,000–195,000 for two with two meals; an August 2026 Obon guest paid about ¥200,000 and wished for a shower curtain and a late check-out. The bath is artificial mineral water, not the spring.

Nên tránh

  • Rakuza, Kiraku and Waraku (39–46㎡), the cheapest Japanese rooms

These face the shopping street and hills, not the sea, and meals are in the restaurant. A December 2024 blogger in Waraku heard street noise with the window open (silent when closed), and 2025–2026 reviewers in Rakuza scored the facilities 2–3 out of 5. Even in sea-view rooms, a May 2026 guest found the torii hidden behind a pine tree. The 2025 suites (Ai, Yomi, Itsuki) look over the town and Senjōkaku, not the sea.

Nhận định về bữa sáng

4.5/5

A set Japanese breakfast at 8:00, 8:30 or 9:00 — rows of small side dishes, simmered dishes and miso soup, with a salad, bread and drinks buffet. Most 2024–2026 reviewers loved it, though a March 2022 blogger who paid ¥3,000 to add it found it short on proper dishes

Call from the ferry and the inn will pick you up at the pier by car. Stay for the evening and dawn: the rooftop terrace (14:00–24:00 and 6:00–11:00) has free drinks including beer, and you can walk to the shrine after the crowds leave. Last ferry to the island is 22:42 from Miyajimaguchi; check-in runs to 23:00. Bookings open six months ahead.

Điểm đáng chú ý của bữa tối

4.6/5

Seasonal creative kaiseki from 18:00 to 19:30 — the base Miyabi-zen course or upgraded seafood (Bimi-zakana) or Hiroshima-beef (Bimi-niku) versions — served in your room for suites, Mizuori and Otona no Kyūjitsu, otherwise in the Himeakari restaurant. Reviewers single out oysters grilled with Saikyō miso or as a gratin, and an anago or oyster rice pot cooked at the table, with leftovers made into rice balls for later. Oysters are always cooked, never raw; the kitchen can't do vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free or fish-stock-free meals. Critics in 2025–2026 found dinner merely average for the price, and when one August 2026 guest asked about black spots on a shrimp, the answer was to leave it if they didn't like it.

Onsen và thư giãn: thực tế ra sao

Loại nước

The inn's own spring, drawn from under the island: a weakly radioactive sodium chloride cold spring (含弱放射線-ナトリウム-塩化物冷鉱泉) that the inn heats to 40.5–41.5°C. The official site doesn't say whether it's recirculated; a 2018 blogger photographed signage stating it was heated, recirculated, diluted with water and disinfected. The semi-open-air baths in the suites and Otona no Kyūjitsu rooms use artificial 'Kōmyōseki' mineral water, and the Mizuori private bath is plain heated water.

Sự riêng tư và không gian

Two indoor shared baths, Kokon-no-yu (retro, with stained glass) and Haon-no-yu (modern, in blue), renovated in July 2026; a 2023 guest noted there's no outdoor bath. Open 15:00–1:00 and 5:00–10:00, for overnight guests only. Towels are provided at the baths, with Refa dryers and a shampoo bar. Guests call the water pleasant and not too hot, but the baths are small and score lowest of all categories on the booking sites.

Quy định về hình xăm

The official site says guests with tattoos may not use the shared baths unless they cover them with their own cover stickers (none are provided). Suites and Otona no Kyūjitsu rooms have their own bath, and Mizuori guests get the private bath.

Lưu ý và những điều tinh tế

  1. 01

Check-in 15:00 (14:00 for Roku and Otona no Kyūjitsu), check-out 11:00; one August 2026 guest was told there's no late check-out.

  2. 02

Cancellation fees start 3 days before arrival on standard plans; some plans differ. The inn's Q&A gives two guests as the minimum, but solo plans (with dinner, in 2026) are also sold.

  3. 03

Miyajima is an island: park at Miyajimaguchi or put your car on the ferry, and call the inn before boarding to use its limited parking. Since April 2026 Hiroshima charges a ¥200 accommodation tax per person per night, on top of the ¥150 bath tax.

  4. 04

Children are welcome, with baby cots, bouncers and children's meals, but not in Otona no Kyūjitsu (no children of primary-school age or younger) or Waraku (no preschoolers). Only the Roku suite is wheelchair-accessible.

  5. 05

With in-room dinners, a 2025 guest reported a seafood smell and dozens of small insects around the dining light; ask about the setup if that worries you.
