Tidak semua ryokan yang berkesan itu tua. Penginapan ini disorot tamu karena arsitektur atau interior kontemporernya — dari rumah pertanian yang dipindahkan dan gudang beras batu yang dihidupkan kembali hingga kamar rancangan arsitek ternama.
